Social media users have been openly discussing Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa’s health in the last few days. While medical reports, fake photographs and even an audio by a mimicry artist (claiming to be the CM's voice) were freely doing the rounds on WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook were comparatively quieter, considering that they are less private means of communication.
However, given the CM’s prolonged stay, the memes have slowly started trickling in about Apollo Hospitals, the secrecy surrounding the CM’s health, and the public’s reaction to rumours.
