Four fire tenders were rushed to a godown in Chennai where fire broke out at 10am on Friday. There have been no casualties so far.
The godown is located in Parry’s Corner, the behind State Bank of India building.
News agency ANI reported that eight people were rescued from the fire and that there were no casualties. The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
Officials on the ground said that the fire is under control.
